Recent Photos of my Snake Collection

Post  snakefreak on Sat Jul 23, 2011 6:20 am

I decided I wanted to photograph all of my snakes to have more recent photos, so here they are:

(Oh, and I took all of these shots on our dining room table! Laughing Laughing Laughing )

Asian Rat Snakes:

Red Tailed Green Rat Snakes (Gonyosoma oxycephalum)

This is Eden, my 2009 CBB female.

Silver Bullet, my WC gray phased female from Java, Indonesia.

And this is Kermit, my WC male also from Java, Indonesia.

Beauty Snakes (Orthriophis taeniura ssp.)

Sapphire, my 2010 CBB female Blue Beauty Snake (O. t. callicyanous).

My 2009 CBB male Taiwan Beauty Snake (O. t. friesi) No name yet...

King Rat Snake (Elaphe carinata)

Lucifer, my 2009 CBB male Chinese King Rat Snake (Elaphe carinata carinata)

(same snake)

North American Rat Snakes:

Pantherophis obsoletus ssp:

Pete, my 2009 CBB "Everglades" Rat Snake (obviously it has some Yellow Rat Snake in him as well though) (P. o. rossalleni x P. o. quadrivittatus)

My WC (probably a 2009) Black Rat Snake (P. o. obsoletus)

My WC (probably a 2010) Texas X Black Rat Snake (P. o. lindheimeri x P. o. obsoletus).

Corn Snakes (Pantherophis guttatus)

My sisters male 2010 Okeetee Corn Snake.

My sisters Miami Corn Snake.

Bogertophis subocularis:

My little WC (Christmas Mountain locality) 2010 Trans Pecos Rat Snake.

My sister's male 2009 Trans Pecos Rat Snake.

That's my Rat Snake collection as of now! Hope you enjoyed the pics! Very Happy

Larry, looks like he eats off of particulate substrate. Don't you have a lecture for him or something?

Cameron Y.,

No.

I've given up on Cameron H. and a few others.

Experience will be the best teacher although with some folks, even after they're burned they keep going back to the flame. Laughing Laughing

(Remember the particulate substrate in the nostril ?)

Larry,

I think he was talking about Cameron H. His dining room table has particulate substrate all over it in the pics, so he must personally eat off of particulate substrate.

"I think you should read the first post again. Lol"

Michael,

No need to.

I read/took that to mean he took the cages out of the bedrooms and put them (the cages) on the dining-room table to photograph the snakes (in their cages).

If he put particulate substrate and the other cages furnishings out on the dining room table itself, and his folks find out, he may be moving back to Stillwater sooner than he thinks. Laughing Laughing Laughing
